Penthouse in Amsterdam

This Amsterdam penthouse was delivered as a shell and offered an exceptional starting point with a bathroom measuring no less than 4.70 × 3.40 meters. The assignment went beyond designing a functional bathroom: it had to become a fully-fledged wellness area.
The design is conceived as a luxury retreat where relaxation, comfort, and experience are central. Elements such as a steam shower, infrared sauna, spacious whirlpool bath, double sink with heated mirror, an extra toilet, practical niches, underfloor heating, and carefully coordinated, dimmable lighting ensure a complete spa experience. Television and music are subtly integrated, enhancing the feeling of tranquility and luxury.
Layout
The master bedroom is enhanced with a compact, integrated shower, finished in the same high-quality tiling and accented with gold-colored fittings. The Gessi faucets reinforce the luxurious and refined character of the space and ensure a consistent material experience between the bedroom and bathroom.
Art Nouveau
Authentic elements
The luxury Bolon flooring has been used throughout the apartment, creating a calm, connecting basis between the different spaces. The lighting plan was designed entirely with Modular Lighting Instruments and integrated into the home automation system, seamlessly combining atmosphere, functionality, and ease of use. The switchgear from Jung switches and sockets perfectly complement this and underline the refined and well-thought-out overall design.
